Alexa Commands Guide:

Let’s explore how to interact with Alexa’s Trove skill.

The first time you open the Notion skill, start with the command, "Alexa, open Trove".

If Trove is still learning, you will receive the response: "I need a little time to learn about your email. Check back again in 15 minutes." Wait a little while and try the command, "Alexa, open Trove" again.

Alexa will respond with a dialogue like this: "You have 30 unread messages, including 5 important messages and 2 that are waiting for you. Would you like to hear more?"

Answer with a simple Yes to continue, or No if you'd like to stop.

While Alexa is telling you more about your emails, she will ask what you would like to do with them. You can ask Alexa to do any of these actions:
  • Who introduced us?
  • Snooze that message for 1 hour
  • Read that message / Read it
  • Move on / Next
  • Go back / Back
  • Archive that message / Archive it
  • Respond, “Okay, sounds good” (or other message body content)
  • Delete that message / Delete it
At any time, you can ask Alexa to Stop.
